Excited...

I am having a rush of excitement today....maybe it is the brewed coffee....OR..

I received a call from one of the nurseries that I enquired about yesterday today. School holidays they are open! 3 meals a day at RM600. There is hope yet! Only grouch from hubby is that "It's so out of the way!" :)
Still have to look around and go look see the place actually....but at least there is some glimmer of hope! Thank God!

Going grocery shopping maybe today if it doesn't rain. Going to get some ingredients to bake a chocolate cake this weekend. Hubby will be starting his new semester and I have to find food and fun sufficient for 2 for the weekend! Thank God!

I think the brewed coffee is too strong...
Better dirnk more water....
My heart is pounding and my hands are shaking...
And my brain is thinking too fast....

Gotta go....gonna surf for more nurseries!
And in all times, thank God!

Oh Good. Go check it out then.

Glad that you found one which is open during school holidays. Here, the nursery follows the school schedule. When there is a holiday, we have to pay for extended care and for the 2 months summer break, there is camp.

I am having the same Q as Little Lamb. Will it be too early to send christ to nursery? Coz when they are too young, their immune system is not too strong. And when they get to contact so many other children everyday, they'll tend to fall sick more frequent.

Angeline, Mumsgather - yeah, going to check it out soon. Though hubby still 'grouches'!

Little Lamb and Baby Darren....currently Christopher goes to a baby centre that has about 10 babies/toddlers all below 2years. So, yeah, I know so well about immune system and all as such! After 2, this baby centre 'graduates' the kids....so, it is not that I am in a hurry....it is that is has become a neccesity for me to find a nursery for him when he turns 2 in Sept.

HI - yeah...it is tough there. You literally have to pay your way through to cope!

like angeline, i thk i can hear your heart pounding :-)

just over dinner, we had a conversation either to send rachael to a half-day or a full-day nursery...and opps, looks like we forgot about the school holidays!

Rm 600 for 3 meals per day is a good price! It mite be out of the way but if it's the best bet, then take it! but you still have time to look for other options...thank God!

ok, gotta run...going to watch my fav tv prog...yup American Idol (watching the 12am slot!)

RM600? Raising a kid nowadays is so expensive. Anyway, glad that you'd found one. When do you plan to send Christopher to nursery?
